Gratitude can seem a hard concept to grasp when you might be feeling anything BUT grateful
This is another of our 14 day de-stress activities. Stress often comes from focusing on problems and challenges. By carving out time to focus on things that you are thankful for helps to rebalance your outlook.
By practising gratitude you will strengthen your emotional reserves, making it easier to cope with challenges.
Positive reflection reduces cortisol (your stress hormone) and activates your parasympathetic nervous system which promotes relaxation.
Try this: Use your rollers, (Ease & Embody) is great for this one! Either on paper, on your phone or voice note. Consider and answer these 3 questions- Who in your life are you grateful for, how do they make you feel? What was the most recent example of human kindness you have witnessed? What is your favourite thing to physically touch, how does it feel?

This can focus on exploring how you feel at a point in time or to focus on understanding what makes you feel good. Reflecting on happy times and understanding what you felt so good.
